Mulwala Resort

Great location close to the town, cafes, restaurants, pubs, the clubs and the lake. Coffee machine and microwave in the rooms was a great extra, also had crockery/cutlery/glassware/toaster. There was also a small table and 2 chairs in room. Beds were very comfortable, with electric blankets and extra pillows and bedding if required, room was very clean. Undercover BBQ was great, although we didn’t use it this visit. Large entertainment room was fabulous, had board games to keep kids occupied, fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and an added extra was the fridge with lots of different condiments/sauces/spices which was for the use of everyone and loved the idea of the honesty fridge which had juice/soft drinks and cereals in it. Also had tables, chairs and TV, the room could be used in hot or cold weather. Great outdoor area with lots of tables and chairs with umbrellas (great shade in summer) and a larger gazebo to relax in. Heated pool wasn’t available at this time of year but was in nice surroundings. Tables and chairs outside each room and a thoughtful little extra was a tin of insect repellant spray on each table. Host (filling in as owners were away on holidays) very friendly , chatty and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Such a nice spot in Mulwala for a few days away. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The facilties are brillliant - nice pool, amazing new kitchen/dining area, and the new BBQ area looks great (we must try it out next time....). The rooms are fresh and new, and we had plenty of space to sleep all 4 of us between the 3 beds (one queen, two singles). There's also lots of seating areas around the property, places that a few people could sit and have a drink or some snacks. We met Laurie the owner several times around the property and he's a really friendly and chatty guy. Such a nice bloke! We walked into Yarranwonga a couple of times, its a very easy 10 min walk over the bridge. Oh its also pretty good value for money for accomodation these days!

This is a small property with very friendly and helpful staff. *cute nicely decorated rooms *very cosy and spotless clean *on a small size but big enough for a couple *very good heating *lots of hooks everywhere which we loved *small kitchenette *plenty of milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, complimentary water, coffee machine, microwave *lots of bathroom accessories, plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, even toothbrush which you won’t found in motels most of the time *even that the property is next to the main road the room was very quiet, couldn’t hear much of a traffic at all *serviced daily *Wifi a bit slow but not an issue

The pool area is great and the decor was funky!

Mulwala Resort is a little hidden gem. The owners and operators, Laurie and Michelle were at call when needed. They provided very comfortable accommodation with luxury extras - coffee machine with pods (can purchase extras), shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion. Can also purchase, coke, water and extra milk. The tropical garden and Pool area is beautifully cared for with lots of outdoor seating, gazebo huts scattered to enhance the experience. A bonus that the property backs on to an easement, then the Yarrawonga golf course making it a quiet area.
